Percussion

Required for all Percussionists in any ensemble. Students will learn techniques in percussion performance and gain mastery of musicianship skills related to percussion performance. Students will learn and perform music written for percussion ensemble. In the Spring Semester students in this class will compete in Winter Drumline, which is an indoor competitive performing ensemble. In the Spring Semester Freshmen students in Percussion Ensemble will also be split up amongst either Symphonic Band and Concert Band, or Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble to cover percussion parts in those ensembles.
