Zero Period 7:15am; Band & Guard Band Room, Percussion: Field (0,1,3,5); pick up 3:30pm
Thursday, October 15
Zero period 7:15am; Band & Guard Band Room, Percussion: Field (0,2,4,6); practice 4-7:30pm, Aux Field BUT, pick up your band student in the Band Room. Percussion & Guard will be on the Field
Friday, October 16
Zero Period 7:15am; Field (0,1,3,5); pick up 3:30pm
Saturday, October 17
Dance Guard Garage Sale, 6am-12pm,
First United Methodist Church: 243 S Broadway, RB.
DG Bake Sale: 4-8pm, RUHS Auditorium

JAZZ A Sketchers Walk! Call time: 7:30am Ends 11am.
First off, let's get it out of the way CONGRATULATIONS ON A BACK TO BACK FIRST PLACE. You guys are on an absolute roll. Focus, Consistency, and so much more is what is making you great! Let's not forget to take a moment to say thank you to the parents that are making it happen, from loading crew, prop crew, pluming crew, guard parent makeup crew, water crew, etc... You are showing up and showing off just as much of these kids and its making me so proud to be part of this community. We have two weeks to refine MOVEMENT 3 in the show this upcoming week so take a look at our schedule this week as it will get a little weird.
Another thing, WIND ENSEMBLE we will be having rehearsals starting NEXT WEEK in preparation for the Veterans Day performance. If you are in Wind ensemble or looking to join please let me know ASAP so I can start formulating a list and start looking at Spring Festival Music. The more talent we have, the more fun the rep will be so please sign up!

Family Contribution:
It’s so exciting to see our kids doing so INCREDIBLY WELL at competitions! Let’s keep up the momentum! Did you know that we pay over $5k for music licensing rites? Props last year cost $3,400? This year, our amazing props are costing much more, but they are also adding to our High Visual scores. We spent almost $1500 for all of the competition registration fees. Renting the truck to drive to competitions costs almost $2k. We pay our staff, for all of their hard work, only $33k. The total marching season costs last year were $65k. Soon we will have to start registering all of the bands, indoor percussion and winter guard for their festivals and competitions. If you haven’t contributed yet, please consider doing what you can or volunteering to help in any capacity.
Marching band and guard: $1650 or monthly installments $206.25
JAZZ students (not enrolled in any other ensemble): $225
